Inderal tablet

Inderal is the brand name of a class of drugs named propranolol that is used to lower blood pressure (hypertension), arrhythmias and other heart problems.

It is also used as an anti-depressant, anti-angina (pain in chest) and anti-migraine.
Inderal or propranolol blocks the release of epinephrine and therefore causes vasodilation of the arteries of the body, leading to reduced blood pressure.

Inderal is being sold in 3 forms.

  • Inderal 10mg
  • Inderal 20mg
  • Inderal 40mg

Beta-blockers are contraindicated in congestive heart failure.
